Someone got injured or has to leave

Open Roster from the tournament screen. SUB swaps in a replacement who takes over that player's place in the remaining rounds — the injured player keeps every point they earned. OUT removes someone with no replacement and redraws the rounds that have not been played yet.

Someone turned up late

Roster → type their name → Add Player. The unplayed rounds are redrawn to include them, and the rounds already played are left exactly as they were.

I typed a score wrong

Tap the round number at the top of the tournament screen to go back to any round, correct the score, and press Save Changes. The standings recalculate. UNDO steps back the most recent round entirely.

We have time for more games

When the tournament finishes, the results screen has a Keep playing section. Choose how many extra rounds and they are drawn on the end, still avoiding partnerships that have already happened.

How are the pairings decided?

Ronda searches for a draw where nobody partners the same person twice, sit-outs are spread evenly, and nobody sits out twice in a row. For most player counts a perfect schedule does not exist, so the app searches for the best one available rather than following a fixed template — and tells you what it found underneath the standings.

Why can't I add more rounds?

Every player can only partner so many different people. With eight players, after seven rounds everyone has partnered everyone. Past that point some pair must play together twice, so the app says so instead of pretending otherwise.

Points or a timer?

Both. Choose under Round ends when setting up. On points, entering one team's score fills in the other automatically. On a timer they are entered separately, because a timed round can finish 14–11.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, entirely. Ronda never needs a connection — useful, since court reception is usually poor.
